AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS  (OTEP-FC)

This full-length play is based on objects that are associated with Jesus at the Crucifixion.  It was originally performed as an Easter service with the cast representing the set pieces at “the foot of the cross”  Characters stood/sat/laid/leaned in front of, on, or in their object and as their object.  Final Breath was positioned above a large wooden cross, like one used in Passion Plays or Easter Pageants.  This is an effective piece that is highly recommended as a centerpiece.  Also recommended is to play soft, contemplative music before, during and after, especially those involving Jesus; death and torture.
